The Beginning of a Movement
The Girl Wyze Feminist Movement was founded in 2021 with a clear and powerful vision: to uplift and empower girls who face numerous challenges and barriers in their lives. In the Mpika district, many young girls are forced to leave school due to financial hardships, early pregnancies, and societal pressures to marry at a young age. These challenges often lead to a cycle of poverty and limited opportunities, preventing girls from achieving their full potential.
